Awesome use case writeups released this week to report on. Notes from the field run through of an Active Directory Federated Services migration to Azure AD, detecting room occupancy with Azure Percept, and a migration filled Microsoft Learn Module of the Week.
Notes from the Field: Migrating Active Directory Federated Services to Azure Active Directory
Eric Woodruff, Microsoft Customer Engineer, shares his knowledge and notes from the field learned from numerous Active Directory Federated Services to Azure Active Directory migrations. While each organization is unique, patterns are noticeable, and Eric helps demystify some common blockers to assist in the movement to cloud-native authorization.

Using Azure Percept to detecting room occupancy
During current times, room occupancy is top of mind for many businesses to ensure everyone's safety. Microsoft MVP, Goran Vuksic, shares a great Azure Percept use case to address the room occupancy opportunity.
Harnessing the Azure Percept DK and its camera, Goran can detect people in a room, upload data to Azure IoT Hub and stream it using an Azure Stream Analytics job into a Power BI dataset to offer a nice visualization in a Power BI report.
