We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 6/8, 19:36 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 6/8, 19:21 UTC and that during the 15 mins that it took to resolve the issue 2.8% of customers with workspace-enabled Application Insights resources in Japan East region may have experienced intermittent log data gaps and incorrect alert activation.

- Root Cause: The failure was due to a failover operation in one of our component that led temporarily to an invalid configuration.
