We have released an update to Microsoft.Data.SqlClient, version 2.1.4. The update addresses a couple of issues that are important to our customers.
Updates in Microsoft.Data.SqlClient 2.1.4 include:
Fixed
- Fixed an issue with connection encryption to ensure connections fail when encryption is required. #1232
- Fixed an issue where the connection goes to an unusable state. #1239
To get the new package, add a NuGet reference to Microsoft.Data.SqlClient in your application.
